Unbelievably, its within the confines of a Howard Johnson Inn, a few miles south of Indianapolis that I found within myself the necessary inspiration to make another blog post. I plugged my phone into my computer tonight for the first time in quite a while, and was entertained by the pictures that began uploading to my computer. So, I’ve chosen three pictures that seemed worthy of posting. And here they are…

This picture is from the Indianapolis Indians game I went too tonight. I can count the baseball games I’ve been too on one hand, but I have a good time when I do go, so I was pumped for the opportunity. This game didn’t disappoint. If anything, I suppose it was extraordinarily exciting due to the collective 16 runs of the night. A ticket to the game was 9 stones, and for that I was thankful. What I was not so pleased with were the 6 dollar beers and the 5 dollar hot dogs. Uncool…

This is the Jefferson Davis monument in Kentucky. We were driving through Kentucky on our way to Louisville a few days ago with some time to spare. We happened to notice a sign pointing us in this thing’s direction and decided to follow it. The biggest surprise was just how massive this hulking obelisk actually was. I’ve been to the Washington Monument once, and from what I recall, old JD’s monument stacks up pretty well. In addition to the monument, there was a little museum with some interesting stuff about the fellow. Sadly, due to time constraints we were unable to ride the elevator to the top. If you ever want to pay a visit to the Jefferson Davis monument just plug “absolute middle of nowhere” into your GPS. It should know what you’re talking about.

This picture of my beloved baby boy, Apollo, is a bit older, but a true gem of a picture and fully deserving of being included in this post. That chair is his all time favorite place to be. He’s cute. He’s a baby. I love him.
Well… this seems like an appropriate place to bring this post to an end. The end.
